This stunning 18ct yellow gold and Australian sapphire ring is a one of a kind collaboration between Kirra-lea and Andrew Jarrett.
The glorious blue/green parti sapphire was personally mined by Andrew. It was then facetted into a shield cut by the same hands that unearthed it from the red soils of Queensland.
The sapphire was given to Kirra-lea to design a ring to show off its uniquness, brilliance and colour. Using 18ct yellow gold Kirra-lea hand made the ring in her Hobart home studio. The sapphire was set by Kirra-lea using double claws and V claw setting style to create a gold frame to accentuate the stones trangular form.
1.34ct Australian blue/green parti sapphire. Natural, no heat treatment. Hand mined and hand cut by Andrew Jarrett in QLD.
